DANIEL SPILMAN

CLEAR LAKE – Daniel Spilman, 85, Clear Lake, died Friday evening at a Clear Lake nursing home, where he had been the last seven years.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation is at the Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Monday.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Duregger, Mrs. Virgil (Thelma) Duregger and Mrs. Clifford (Betty) Thomas, all of Clear Lake; five sons, Dale and Danny, Thornton; Orval, Sam and Wayne, Clear Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Claire (Lillie) Holmes, Nora Springs, and Mrs. Chester (Kate) Johnson, Sturges, S.D., 21 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
