Morgan Havnen

Services for Morgan Havnen, 80, of 1800 Twenty-sixth St., who died of emphysema Tuesday at the Ramsey Memorial Home, 1611 Twenty-Seventh St., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Havnen was born in rake and lived in Mason City before moving to Des Moines 32 years ago. He was a retired plant superintendent for Armco Steel Corp. and a member of Central Lutheran church.

Survivors include his wife Maybelle; a daughter, Mardelle Holt of Minneapolis, Minn.; three sons, Don of Mason City, John of Des Moines, and Paul of Grimes; a sister, Marie Memren of Owatonna, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Central Lutheran Church.
