MRS. JESKA DIES SUDDENLY

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. E. P. Jeska, 83, died suddenly Sunday evening at her home, 309 N. 12th St. She had been in poor health for the last year.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Wilcox Funeral Home. The Rev. George Truman Carl, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Mason City, will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Anna Jeska was born March 25, 1875, at Forest City, the daughter of Frank and Carolyn Friday. She was married May 5,1903, at Forest City to Emil P. Jeska. He operated a grain and livestock business in Forest City before coming to Clear Lake 37 years ago. They spent 21 winters in West Palm Beach and Tampa, Fla., and several in California.

Surviving her are her husband, one brother, Albert Friday, Forest City, and several nieces and nephews. One sister and three half-brothers preceded her in death.

Transcriber’s Note – Anna Jeska was born March 25, 1875, died 1958 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section 8 Row 2.
