PLAN RITES FOR IDA WAGGONER
FUNERAL THURSDAY AT 2:30, WILCOX CHAPEL

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Jesse Waggoner, 71, 612 N. 4th street, who died Monday morning at a local nursing home, will be held at the Wilcox Funeral chapel Thursday at 2:30 o’clock. The rev. LaReau N. Thorwall, pastor of Gospel Tabernacle, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery.

Willie Ida Davis was born Jan. 1, 1875, at Corinth, Miss., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Davis. She was married to Mr. Waggoner at DeQueen, Ark., Jan. 1, 1903. They came to the Clear Lake community about 25 years ago, living on farms until the death of mr. Waggoner in may, 1929, since when Mrs. Waggoner had lived in Clear Lake.

Mrs. Waggoner had been in failing health since October, 1945, when she suffered a stroke. She became ill a month ago and was moved to the nursing home Nov. 20.

Mrs. Waggoner is survived by a brother, E.L. Davis, Chickasaw, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Orville Abrams, Thornton; a son, Edgar Waggoner, St. Ansgar, and 9 grandchildren. One of these, Robert Abrams, S 2/c, is expected to arrive from San Francisco, Cal., for the funeral.
