Olga Marie Earlina Johnson was born July 16, 1922 at Sidonia, Mountrail, North Dakota to Maria Andersen and Ole W Johnson, the seventh of their ten children.

Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Sidonia, Mountrail, North Dakota:
1930: Ole Johnson 51, Mary Johnson 41, Helmer J Johnson 22, Hazel C Johnson 20, Walter C Johnson 18, Adolph B Johnson 12, Florence M Johnson 10, Olga M E Johnson 7, Nora T Johnson 5, Evelyn I Johnson 3.

1940: Ole Johnson 61, Marie Johnson 51, Walter Johnson 27, Olga Johnson 17, Nora Johnson 15, Evelyn Johnson 13, Elvira Johnson 8.

Olga married Francis John Ouverson on December 26, 1943 at the groom's parent's home. The couple had 3 children.

Olga died December 9, 2002 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and was buried at the Grant Center Cemetery, Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.

Obituary from the Northwood Anchor, December 17, 2002: Olga Ouverson, 80 of Hanlontown, died Monday, December 9, 2002, at Muse Norris Hospice in Mason City, IA. Funeral services were Saturday at the Church of Christ in Fertile. Burial was at Grant Center Cemetery in rural Clear Lake.

Olga Marie Earlina Ouverson was born on July 16, 1922, on a farm in Mountrail county, North Dakota, the daughter of Ole and Mary (Anderson) Johnson. She received her education there and after moving with her family to Iowa, graduated from Kensett High School. She attended Mankato State College and received her teaching certificate. She taught in country schools for a year. She married Francis Ouverson on December 26, 1943, at his parent's home. The couple made their home in Fertile for a short time before moving to their present farm northeast of Fertile. Olga was a dedicated and active member of her church, serving as secretary, treasurer, and pianist for many years.

Olga is survived by her husband, Francis, and three children: Craig Ouverson of Hanlontown; Joyce Hagen and husband, Leon, of Hanlontown; Dr. Richard Ouverson and wife, Dr. Anna Ouverson of Madison, S.D.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Johnson of Mason City and Elvira Olson and husband Russell of Fairfax, IA.; two sisters-in-law, Silence Johnson of Fertile and Marian Mulder of Slayton, Minnesota; a brother-in-law, Loris Scobee of Fertile.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Helmer, Walter, Adolph and Earl Johnson; and three sisters: Hazel Lundt, Florence Sanderson and Nora Mogk.
