MRS. WALLACE DIES AT 89 IN CHICAGO

CLEAR LAKE – Louise N. Wallace, 89, died Saturday in Chicago where she lived with her son Harry Duane Wallace. They were both former Clear Lake residents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Krebs, pastor of the congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. The body will arrive in Clear Lake Wednesday morning.

She was born Sept. 2, 1873, at Decorah, the daughter of Lars and Carolyn (Olson) Nesheim. When very young, she moved with her parents to a farm north of Clear Lake. After her marriage to Burton Wallace, they lived in Clear Lake where he worked as a painter for many years. He died in 1930. In 1935 she went with her son to Chicago where they have made their home since.

Surviving her are her son and a sister, Mrs. Leo (Marguerite) Elting, Mason City. Her husband, five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Pallbearers will be Harold Aitchison, Robert Nesheim, and Herbert, Donald, Myron and David Garlock.
