CLEAR LAKE – Former long-time Clear Lake resident Mrs. Ed (Margie) Walker, Ventura, died Saturday in a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Murley A. Severtson officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home, Clear Lake, until time of services.

She and her husband operated the Wayside Inn and Cottages on the south shore of Clear Lake.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Walker, Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Gary (Susan) Gerdes, Mason City; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anita Walker, Mason City; four grandchildren, and her mother, Mrs. Virgie Wilson, Ventura.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. George (Marie) Hamann and Mrs. Mary Byerly, both of Ventura; a sister-in-law, Lucille Wilson, Ventura; and three brothers, James Wilson, Ventura; George Wilson, Swaledale, and Bill Wilson, Clear Lake.
