EDWIN WALKER RITES; CAR CRASH VICTIM

Funeral services for Edwin R. (Ned) walker, 27, 1618 N. Pennsylvania, who was killed Friday night, April 9, in a one-car accident near Fertile, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home.

He was born March 8, 1944, in Mason City, the son of Edwin and Margie (Wilson) Walker. He received his education in the Clear Lake schools.

He was employed at Winnebago Industries, Forest City, at the time of his death.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Anita, Mason City; one son, Neddy, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Walker, Clear Lake; two sisters, Mary Ann Walker, Clear Lake, and Mrs. Gary (Susan) Gerdes, Mason City; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Virgie Wilson, Ventura.

The Rev. Lavern Hanson, pastor of Mason City Trinity Lutheran Church, officiated, along with the Rev. Murley A. Severtson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake.

Burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Sanchez, Chuck Dolan, Loren Murphy, Gary Gerdes, Myron Haugen and Lyle Foss. Organist was Mrs. Harry Mason and soloist was Mrs. Dale Becker.
