EDWIN H. WALKER DIES; SERVICE SET

CLEAR LAKE – Edwin H. Walker, 79, died Tuesday at his home, 2515 S. Lakeview Drive. He had owned and operated Wayside Inn and Cottages at that address since 1933.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home, with burial in Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Marge; two daughters, Mary Ann Walker and Mrs. Gary (Susan) Gerdes, both of Mason City; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Mitchell, Cedar Galls, and four grandchildren.
