HOLLIS REED BOKELMAN

Hollis Reed Bokelman, 76, of Ventura, died July 1 1981 in a Rochester, Minnesota hospital.

He was born January 17, 1905 in Ventura, the son of Henry and Mary Paul Bokelman. He attended school in Ventura and has lived all of his life on a farm north of Ventura. He was married to Vida Rosenau, on June 10, 1925 at Ventura.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Vida, a son Henry Bokelman; and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Hazel) Momyer all of Ventura, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, July 6 at the Ward-Van Slyke Chapel in Clear Lake, with the Rev. E.M. Miller officiating. Organist was Ross Anderson and soloist was Larry Shaffer.
