Ronald Eggert 76, Hastings,MN, died unexpectedly at his lake home on lake Vermillion, MN on June 17, 2013. He had retired from science teaching and semi-retired from construction. He was the son of Clifford and Catherine Eggert (Piersol) who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie (leinweber) and daughters Rebecca and Roxanne and five grandchildren; and one brother, Delmer, all in Minnesota. Ron was an active vocalist and choir member, and handbell ringer; a dedicated outdoor sports enthusiast, fishing and canoeing,plus tennis and golfing, and a booster for his grandchildren. Memorial services were June 22 at Augustana Lutheran Church, South St. Paul. Burial at Lake Vermillion. He was a happy and positive person, and one of the saints who kept the faith.
