FRIEDA M. BECKMANN

Funeral services for Frieda M. Beckmann, 81, of 1001 3rd Ave. So., Clear Lake, who immigrated from Germany to the United States, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ventura.

The Rev. Daird Korth officiated. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

She was born April 3, 1903 in Germany to Wilhelm and Wilheimea (Witt) Dietrich. She married Otto Beckmann in April 1924 in Germany. They moved to Clear Lake in 1953.

She enjoyed knitting and gardening. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura.

Mrs. Beckmann is survived by a stepson, Willi Beckmann, Clear Lake, and three grandchildren, Traudi Schwab of Munich, Germany; Wolfgang Meier, Mason City, and Christine Meier, Minneapolis, Minn., and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Frieda M. Beckmann Memorial Fund.

Pallbearers were Harold Skilbred, Heinz Rattay, Walter Schmidt, Gunter Rattay, Harry Roenfranz and Vernon Ristau.

She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Margarete Meier.

NOTE – Frieda M. Beckmann was born April 3, 1903, died July 1984 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section D Row 7.
