ESPERANZA IBARRA

Mrs. Esperanza Ibarra, 64, 125 N. 14th St., Clear Lake, died at a MASON City hospital Saturday, Feb3. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church with Father Walter Kleinfehn officiating. Interment was in Clear Lake Cemetery with arrangements by Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel. Organist was Mrs. Jerry Faber.

Esperanza M. Ibarra was born Feb. 14, 1914, in Mexico, the daughter of Ildesonso and Crescemia (Buentelto) Munoz. She received her education in Mexico. She was married to Francisco Ibarra on Dec. 29, 1935 in Mexico. They moved to Clear Lake in 1954 and spent many years working for the Kennedy farms.

Mrs. Ibarra is survived by her husband, Francisco; three daughters, Alice, Mrs. Rufus Vasquez of Mason City, Josephine, Mrs. David McDevitt of Clear Lake and Mary, Mrs. Donald Burgess, Phoenix, Ariz.; three sons, Francisco Ibarra Jr. of Clear Lake, Rudy Ibarra of Mason City and Joseph Ibarra of Fertile; two sisters and one brother in Mexico; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Gilbert Ibarra, Mario Ochoa, Rufus Vasquez, Louis Ochoa, Humberto Rodriguez and Christopher Beard.

NOTE – Esperanza Ibarra was born February 14, 1914, died February 3, 1979 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section F Row 7.
