J. C. OEHLERT, 64, DIES

CLEAR LAKE – Julius Charles Oehlert, 64, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church with Dr. John DeLong officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Ward’s Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Oehlert was born Oct. 14, 1893, in Westport Township, Sheffield, to Charles and Emma Oehlert. He was graduated from Hampton High School. He served with the Army overseas in World War I and was married to Leila King in 1920. They farmed at Thornton and Clear Lake and have lived on their present farm for the past seven years.

Besides his wife, Mr. Oehlert is survived by one son, Howard, Thornton; a daughter, Mrs. T.O. Davis, Hanlontown; his mother, Mrs. Emma Kerchner, and a sister, Mrs. J. R. Kugler, Clear Lake; two brothers, Jess, Humburg, Wis., and Louis, Fargo, N.D., and six grandchildren.

NOTE – Julius Charles Oehlert was born October 14, 1893, died October 1957 and was buried in Clear Lake Cemetery Section D Row 3.
