ROBERT F. O’DEA

CLEAR LAKE – Robert F. “Red” O’Dea, 68, of 502 N. Shore Drive, died Monday shortly after being admitted to a Mason City hospital.

He had been a sporting goods salesman the last 34 years and prior to that was the Clear Lake Country Club pro.

Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. James F. Delay officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. A parish rosary is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home, where visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Molly), Clear Lake; a sister, Mrs. George (Gladys) Luckey, Rockford, Ill., and a brother, James, Inglewood, Calif.

NOTE – Robert F. “Red” O’Dea was born 1905, died June 1974 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section F Row 5
