OELBERG RITES HELD MONDAY AT FUNERAL HOME

Funeral services were held Monday for Rose Oelberg, 85, who died at the home of her daughter in Mason City. Mrs. Oelberg had lived for many years at Bayside. She was born Feb. 12, 1881, in Prussia.

The Rev. Robert Stone, pastor of First Congregational Church, Mason City, officiated at 2 p.m. in the Wilcox Funeral Home. Mrs. Louis Treloar sang accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Harry Mason. Mrs. Ray Haglin and Mrs. H.C. O’Brien were in charge of the flowers.

Pallbearers were Jim Anderson, Bernard Rose, Shirley Stanfield, Leo Stork, Milton Young and H.C. O’Brien. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

NOTE – The headstone in Clear Lake Cemetery (Section D Row 1) states that Rose Oelberg was born 1884 and died 1966.
