CARRELL S. LEVISAY FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE FRIDAY

Funeral services for Carrell S. Levisay, 52, who died Sunday evening at his home at Detroit, Mich., following several months of failing health, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Ward’s Funeral Home with the Rev. A.D. Kurtz, pastor of the Evangelical Free Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Levisay was born July 5, 1904 at Blue Sulphur Springs, W. Va., the son of Loma and the late H.S. Levisay. They moved to Swaledale and the Clear Lake vicinity where he grew to manhood. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was married to Hope McDonnel nine years ago.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Loma Levisay, 1008 South 8th Street; three brothers, Jim, Clear Lake; John, Princeton, Ill., Lester of Rockford, Ill.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Cook, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Vivian Zobel, Marshalltown and Mrs. Jeane Rowen, Santa Barbara, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father, H.S. Levisay in 1954 and his wife, Hope Levisay, June 1 1956.

NOTE – Carrell S. Levisay was born July 5, 1904, died July 22, 1956 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section 7 Row 1.
