RITES HELD FOR MRS. ELLSWORTH
BROTHERS OF GIRL SERVE AS PALLBEARERS AT LAKE CEMETERY

CLEAR LAKE, FEB 1 – Funeral services for Mrs. Dean Ellsworth, 20, were held Friday afternoon at the Eugene Whitney home, North Second Street. Mrs. D.H. Campbell, past first reader of the Christ Scientist Church, officiated at the services.

Mrs. Ellsworth, nee Bonnie Whitney, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Whitney, Tuesday morning following an illness that confined her to her bed since before Thanksgiving.

Three brothers of the girl, Alonzo Whitney, Pontiac, Mich.; Eugene Whitney, Omaha and Charles Whitney, Clear Lake, served as pallbearers along with Osgood Whittemore, Sheffield; Dean Avis, Mason City; and Harland Hamm, Clear Lake. Burial was made in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Ellsworth is survived by her husband, Dean Ellsworth, and daughter, Maxie Jean; her parents and four brothers, Alonzo, Pontiac, Mich.; Eugene, Omaha; Charles and Jack and five sisters, Mrs. Don White, Pontiac, Mich.; Mrs. Harland Hamm, Clear Lake; Ruth, Cherie and Juliet at home.

NOTE – Bonnie Laurine Whitney was born 1914, died 1935 and was buried in the Whitney family plot in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section 5/6 Row 4.
