MRS. ARMENTROUT, 85, DIES AT IOWA FALLS; FUNERAL IS THURSDAY

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. J. F. Armentrout, 85, died Tuesday noon at the home of her son, W. K. Armentrout, Iowa Falls, relatives in Clear Lake learned Tuesday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held at Iowa Falls at 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon and the body will be brought to Clear Lake for burial. No services will be held at Clear Lake.

Mrs. Armentrout, who formerly lived on a farm in Lincoln Township, was preceded in death by her husband who died 13 years ago and by a son, Clyde, who died 12 years ago. Surviving are two other sons, Charles and Roy, Mason City, besides the one in Iowa Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Coe, Sr., plan to attend the funeral Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Peterson was formerly Mrs. Clyde Armentrout and the Coes are old friends and neighbors.

NOTE - Harriet Armentrout was born 1855, died February 1942 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section D Row 11.
