PLAN SERVICES FOR MRS. F. OTTO

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Ferdinand Otto, 93, who lived a mile northwest of Clear Lake, will be held at the Wilcox Funeral Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. Warner M. Hubbard, Methodist pastor, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Otto died Tuesday evening at a local nursing home after an illness of about 3 months.

Mrs. Otto was born Susan Hill, daughter of George and Anna Hill, in Jefferson County, Wis., Feb. 17, 1857. She had lived in this community about 49 years. She is survived by her husband and 3 grandchildren, Susie, Willard and Frank Ayers, all living in California, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Frank B. Ayers, who died in 1915; 2 sons, Bernard D. Ayers, Clear Lake, who died June 21, 1949, and Durrie Ayers, Mason City, who died about a year ago, a sister, Mrs. William (Georgiana) Hill, Clear Lake, who died May 7, 1948, and a brother, James J. Hill, Lincoln Township, who died Sep. 1, 1942.

NOTE -- Susan Otto was born February 17, 1857 and died September 1950.
