MRS. JOHN OVERGAARD DIED IN WEST

CLEAR LAKE -- Mrs. John Overgaard, 88, died Thursday morning at Glendale, Calif. A former resident of Ventura, she had been living with her daughter, Mrs. J. N. Ray, at Glendale for the last four years.

Margaret Overgaard was born Feb. 15, 1871, at Egedal, Norway. She was the widow of John Overgaard, Ventura, who died in 1926.

Surviving are her four daughters: Mrs. J.N. (Alice) Ray, Glendale; Mrs. J.A. (Florence) Olson, West Bend; Mrs. K.N. (Verna) Peterson, Ventura, and Mrs. J.H. (Clara) McDowell, Long Beach; one son, Wilbur S. Overgaard, Ventura; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the E.U.B. Church at Ventura with the pastor, the Rev. E.M. Miller, officiating and assisted by the Rev. Richard Ellingsen, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday at the Wilcox Funeral Home which is in charge of services.

NOTE – Margaret Overgaard was born February 15, 1871, died January 1960 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section E Row 8.
