ROBERT N. HOLMAN

CLEAR LAKE - Robert N. Holman, 64, of 1909 Main Ave. died Saturday (June 8, 2002) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

His funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania, with Sister Emily Devine and Rose Schlueter, chaplains at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Bob was born Sept. 1, 1937, in Melbourne, Iowa, the son of Willard and Viola (Nelson) Holman. He graduated from Melbourne High School. Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 until his discharge in 1960. He moved to Las Vegas, Nev., in 1970.

Bob married Nancy Stinehart May 1, 1982, in Las Vegas. They moved to Clear Lake in 1988 where Bob worked in sales for Woodford Wheeler Lumber Co. He retired in October of 2000. Bob enjoyed traveling and will be terribly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Holman, of Clear Lake; daughter, Tracy Griffin, of Bend, Ore.; sons, Brian Holman and wife Stacy, of Denton, Texas, Robert Holman, of Salem, Ore.; daughter, Julie Brookman and husband John, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and six grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Willard.
