PLAN RITES FOR I. HULVERSON
FUNERAL AT WILCOX CHAPEL SUNDAY, 2CLEAR LAKE –Funeral services for Miss Isabel Hulverson, 89, who died at the home of her niece, Mrs. J.B. Osnes, 610 Kimball Street, at 6 a.m. Friday, will be held at the Wilcox Funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2. Mrs. H.S. Hushaw Christian Science reader will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.
Miss Hulverson was born in Norway Jan. 12, 1860, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Hulverson, and came to America with her parents at the age of 3. They settled in Clayton County. For the past 27 years Miss Hulverson had lived in Santa Anna, Cal. Mrs. Osnes cared for her there last winter, returning with her to Clear Lake in April. Miss Hulverson had been bedfast 2 months.
Miss Hulverson was preceded in death by 7 sisters, Mmes. Hans Halverson and Peter Paulson, of Garner; Mmes. J.C. Halverson and Louis Larson, Miller; Mrs. Gunder Thompson, Farmersburg and Mmes. Mattie and Helen Halverson, St. Olaf, and a brother, C.O. Hulverson, St. Olaf.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Miss Tina Hulverson, St. Olaf, and Mrs. A.C. Meyer, Castalia, and 14 other nieces and nephews besides Mrs. Osnes.
NOTE - Isabelle Hulverson was born January 12, 1860, died December 1949 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section D Row 6.
