VIRGINIA SCOTT

CLEAR LAKE – Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Scott, 57, of 120 4th Ave. N., who died Tuesday at a Mason City hospital.

The Rev. James F. Delay will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation is at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home, where a rosary was to be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, Richard R., Clear Lake; three sons, R. Richard, Spirit Lake; Patrick, Urbandale and Joe, Clear Lake, seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Morgan, Austin, Minn., and Mrs. Frances Amos, Clear Lake; three brothers, John Laughlin, Mason City; Pat Laughlin, Webster City, and Thomas Laughlin, Des Moines, and her grandfather, Carl Franks, Spencer.

NOTE – Virginia Scott was born in 1918, died in February 1976 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section F Row 8.
