LOUISE SCHONEMAN

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Schoneman, 86, of 1425 Main Street were held at 1:30 pm Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. She died (Tuesday (Aug. 7, 1984) at a Clear Lake nursing home.

The Rev. Keith Tomlinson officiated and burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Schoneman was born Sept. 21, 1897 in Dows to Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Jorgenson. She attended rural Dows area schools and had lived in Clear Lake the past 40 years. For many years she worked at the Clear Lake Bakery, retiring in 1962. She married Henry H. Schoneman in January 1963 in Clear Lake. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake.

Survivors include her husband, Henry; five sons, Everet Barkhurst, Park Forest, Ill.; Vincent Barkhurst, Ventura; Varian Barkhurst, Clear Lake; Stanley Barkhurst, San Francisco, Calif., and Leroy Barkhurst, Oklahoma City, Okla.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister, Ella Agler, Deming N.M., and one brother, Raymond Jorgenson, Thornton.

Organist for the service was Louise Folkmann and soloist was Glenn Erickson.

Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Schoneman, Gary Barkhurst, Tom Barkhurst, Curt Barkhurst, Leroy Barkhurst, Jr. and Steven Barkhurst.

Pallbearers were Leroy Barkhurst, Varian Barkhurst, Everet Barkhurst, Vincent Barkhurst, Jim Barkhurst, James Polsdofer and Stanley Barkhurst.

NOTE – Louise Schoneman was born September 2, 1897, died August 7, 1984 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section H Row 4.
