HOLD RITES FOR FARM WOMAN
MRS. ELMER TRELOAR BURIED AT CLAEAR LAKE

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer Treloar, 49, who died at a Mason City hospital Wednesday afternoon following a major operation performed 3 weeks before, were held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon. The Rev. Thomas B. Collins, pastor, with the Rev. L. E. Edwards, Central City, assisting, conducted the rites and burial was in Clear Lake cemetery. Williams funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Wilma Maude Kiley was born in Nora Springs, April 12, 1895, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Kiley, and spent the early years of her life in that vicinity. March 14, 1917, she was married to Mr. Treloar and they moved to the present home northwest of Clear Lake in January , 1934. To them were born 3 children, Mrs. Reuben Grell and Betty and Tommy, Jr., all of Clear lake.

Besides her husband and Mrs. Treloar is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Stella Edwards, Central City, and Mrs. Pearl Brincken, Rockford, and a brother, Clarence Kiley, Chariton, also several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Treloar was affiliated with the Methodist Church and took an active part in its work as well as in neighborhood affairs. She was a member of the Busy Bee and Lake View clubs. Lake View club members called at the home and Busy Bee members attended the church services in a body.

Flowers were arranged by Mmes. Earl Lambert, Elmer Luscomb and Gregory Marshall. Mrs. L.E. Jacobson, accompanied by Mrs. Harry Mason, sang “Saved By Grace” and "Some Day He’ll Make It Plain.” Lynn Hyde, Mr. Lambert, Elmer and Rollin Luscomb, Mr. Marshall and Roger Nelson were pallbearers.

NOTE – Wilma Maude Treloar was born April 12, 1895, died August 25, 1944 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section 2 Row 9.
