RITES HELD FOR E. W. TRELOAR
SERVICES MONDAY AT METHODIST CHURCH

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Elmer W. Treloar, 55, who died at his farm home north of Clear Lake Saturday afternoon of a heart attack, were held at the Methodist Church Monday afternoon. The Rev. W.M. Hubbard, pastor conducted the rites and burial was in Clear Lake cemetery. The Wilcox funeral chapel made the arrangements.

Pallbearers were John Jacobs, Elmer Luscomb, Lynn Hyde, Gregory Marshall, Paul McEldoon and Roger Nelson. Mrs. Louis Treloar, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Harry Mason, sang “In the Garden” and “Be Still, My Soul.” Flowers were arranged by Mmes. Elmer Luscomb, Earl Lambert and Gregory Marshall.

Mr. Treloar was born at Lancaster, Wis., Nov. 25, 1894, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Treloar. March 14, 1917, he was married at the Baptist parsonage in Swaledale to Miss Wilma Kiley. They lived near Rudd until 1934 when they moved to the present home where Mrs. Treloar died Aug. 25, 1944. Sept. 2, 1946, he was married at Albert Lea, Minn., to Mrs. Cleo Moeller, who survives.

Also surviving are 3 children, Mrs. Reuben (Betty) Grell, 305 N. 11th Street; Mrs. Charles R. (Norma) Luhouse, 401 N. 3rd Street, and Thomas, at home; 3 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Rose Treloar, Nora Springs and 2 sisters, Mmes. Ethel Shanks and Marie Dobson, Nora Springs.

Relatives present included Mrs. Mildred Ramshaw, Lancaster, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Duward Willford, Sioux City, and others from Sumner, Hampton, Nora Springs, Rudd and Bristow.

NOTE – Elmer W. Treloar was born November 25, 1894, died July 1, 1950 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section 2 Row 9.
