ARTHUR H. KREBS

DAVENPORT - The Rev. Arthur H. Krebs, 76, of Davenport, formerly of Clear Lake, died Tuesday (March 25, 1997) at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, Davenport.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm. Monday at First Congregational Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Thomas Healey officiating. Inurnment will be at Clear Lake Cemetery. Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur H. Krebs was born Sept. 4, 1920 in Java, S.D., the son of Henry Krebs and Caroline (Meier) Krebs.

Arthur H. Krebs married Marian Pesicka on June 6, 1945, in Yankton, S.D.

Mr. Krebs served churches in Iowa and Nebraska for 37 years retiring in 1982. He was the former pastor of First Congregational Church, Clear Lake.

He was a member of Edwards Congregational Church, Davenport, and the Davenport Host Lions Club.

Memorials may be given to the First Congregational Church, Clear Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Marian Krebs; daughter, Karla; two sisters, Alice Hieb, Roscoe, S.D., and Lenora Spitzer, Roscoe, S.D.; and three brothers, Oscar Krebs, Roscoe, S.D.; Carson Krebs, Fountain Valley, Calif., and Donald Krebs, Seattle, Wash.
