GLENN WRIGHT RITES TUESDAY October 22, 1910 – February 20, 1961
CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Glenn Arthur Wright, 50, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Father John Hedger will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery with the Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wright died suddenly Saturday morning while visiting at the home of a friend, Ralph O’Donnell.
Glenn Arthur Wright was born Oct. 22, 1910, at Glenwood, the son of Arthur and Carrie Anthony Wright. He served in the Navy from August, 1942 to September, 1945. For a number of years he has conducted his own electronics service business. He formerly was engineer for Radio Station KGLO. He had been a resident of Clear Lake about 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie, and one daughter, Marilyn; one brother, Walter and one sister, Mrs. Roy (Mildred) Stoakes, both of Ames.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requested that any memorials be made to the Glenn Wright Memorial Fund.
