PLAN RITES FOR MRS. J. WRIGHT

AGED LAKE WOMAN SUCCUMBS AFTER LONG SUFFERING FOLLOWING ACCIDENT

CLEAR LAKE, Jan. 25 – Mrs. J. C. Wright, 70 died at a Mason City hospital at 1 o’clock Wednesday morning after a lingering illness. She suffered a fractured hip on Nov. 12 and since that time has been bedfast at the hospital. During the past two days she has been unconscious.

Mrs. Wright is a widow of the late Dr. J. C. Wright, an early resident of Clear Lake. She was born in Putnam, New York, and came to Clear Lake in 1878.

She was affiliated with the Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and Civic League.

Services are being planned for Friday. She is survived by a sister, Miss Elizabeth McLaughlin, who is confined to the Wright home with illness. The body is at the Ward funeral home.

NOTE – Mrs. Wright is the former Agnes McLaughlin, born 1853, died 1933 and is buried in Clear Lake Cemetery.
