JOHN HENRY JOHNSON

CLEAR LAKE — John Henry Johnson, 96, passed away Tuesday (Dec. 23, 2003) in Glendale, Calif.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, with the Rev. Jan Burnett of Clear Lake United Methodist Church, of Clear Lake, officiating. Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St. in Clear Lake, is in charge of arrangements.

John was born in Clear Lake, the son of John and Maude (Hibel) Johnson. He graduated from Clear Lake High School.

John was a longtime Glendale resident and was a retired draftsman (50 years) with Lockheed Aircraft. He was a member of North Glendale United Methodist Church and the I.O.O.F. Odd Fellows Lodge #187, Clear Lake, Iowa.

Several cousins survive John.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Gladys Johnson on June 10, 1999.
