Elsie Grace Frampton, 78, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at the
Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa.

Graveside inurnment services were held Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Clear Lake
Cemetery, with the Rev. Jan R. Burnett of the United Methodist Church in Clear
Lake officiating. According to her wishes her body was cremated.
The family of Elsie Grace Frampton has requested that memorial contributions be
made to Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City in her memory.

Elsie Grace Frampton was born on April 21, 1926, in West Sand Lake, N. Y. the
daughter of Jack and Grace (Rogers) Walsh. Elsie graduated from North High
School in Des Moines, Iowa, and also graduated from the American Institute of
Business in Des Moines. After completing her schooling, she worked in Ankeny,
Iowa at the Ammunitions Ordinance Factory during World War II.

After the war she worked at an insurance company in Des Moines. She was united
in marriage to James Frampton on Aug. 8, 1946, in Boone, Iowa. After their
marriage they lived in Boone, where Elsie worked for Montgomery Wards, until
1960 when the family moved to Oregon. Elsie and her husband, James, operated
a bowling alley and night club in Roseberg, Ore. for four years before moving
to Clear Lake in 1964. After moving to Clear Lake, Elsie worked for Land of
Lakes in Mason City in the office until her retirement in 1980.

Elsie was an avid bowler. She loved her family; her dog, Little Lady, and
collecting thimbles. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James Frampton, of Clear Lake;
children, Kerry James and his wife, Dee, (Dorothy) Frampton, of Lake of the
Ozarks, Mo., Kenneth John Frampton and his wife, Deborah, of Clear Lake, and
Kathy Jean Astor and her husband, Bill, of Clear Lake; grandchildren, Jamie,
Kelly, Kerry James Frampton; step-granddaughter, Jamie Jo Frampton, Brandon
Frampton and his wife, Jenny, David Frampton, and Ethan Astor, as well as other
relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
