Kenneth Wayne Post, 75, of Clear Lake, Iowa, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998 at the
Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held today (Wednesday), Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. at the
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake. The family will greet friends one
hour prior to the service at the funeral home. His body was cremated.
Inurnment was in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the
Kenneth W. Post Memorial Fund.

Kenneth was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Algona, Iowa, the son of Walter and Nellie
Ada (Stewart) Post. The family moved to Clear Lake in 1926 where Kenneth
attended school. Kenneth was a salesman for Kelco Economentte Co., a drug
sundried company, from 1951-1972. In 1972 he purchased the Coffee Shop. Later
he worked for Garth Restaurant (now known as the North Beach), Easter Foods as
the dairy supervisor for 10 years. He worked with Walt Leslie painting and
doing other odd jobs, and the Milepost 194 Truck Stop. Organizations he
enjoyed included the Clear Lake Evening Lions and Toastmasters.

His greatest love was going and having coffee with the guys and sharing jokes.
Clear Lake was the best place in the world for him and he had the greatest
friends here.

He is survived by his children, Cal Mohr and his wife, Doreen, Surprise,
Ariz., Kim Bliss, Kit Post, Kelly Mohr, all of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lori
Dickerson and her husband, Darren, Clear Lake; 14 grandchildren, Chris,
Jeremy, Jennifer, Rick, Nicole, Johnny, Rana, Zachary, Megan, Nikia, Chanz,
Benjamin, Alexander and Brianne; three great-grandchildren, Timothy, Douglas
(twins) and Richie.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
