AURDAL, ROSEMOND, RIERSON

AURDAL Dies at Mason City – Clear Lake – Raymond J. AURDAL, 58, 401 S. 3rd St.., died at a Mason City hospital about 8 a.m. Saturday following a long period of declining health. Mr. AURDAL was born at Northwood Dec. 28, 1896. He had lived at Clear Lake 20 years.

Mr. AURDEL was a veteran of World War I, a past commander of Stafford Post 222, American Legion and a member of the 40 and 8, a past president of the Clear Lake Lions Club; past master of Verity Lodge 250, A. F. and M., which he joined by affiliation ; a member of the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and the First Congregational Church. He was active in all these organizations as long as his health permitted.

He was married to Miss Jeannette ROSEMOND Oct. 7, 1924. Soon after their marriage they went to South America where he was a representative of General Motors in Brazil and several other countries. In recent years Mr. AURDAL had an insurance business.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary AURDAL, Mason City, and a sister, Mrs. Art RIERSON, Northwood. He was preceded in death by his father and by a brother, Melvin E. AURDAL, Northwood, who died Aug. 3, 1951.

Funeral services will be held at Ward’s Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. Dr. E. W. Day, Congregational pastor, will conduct the rites.

NOTE – Mr. AURDAL died 1953.
