James R. "Jimmy" Lane, 37, of Clear Lake, Iowa died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001 in
rural Clear Lake. Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 18, at Ward-Van Slyke
Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dennis Ganz officiating. Interment
was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa. Family suggests memorials to
James R. Lane memorial fund.

Jimmy was born Oct. 5, 1963 in South St. Paul, Minn. the son of Jim and Jane
(Pramer) Lane. He attended Clear Lake High School.

Jimmy was manager of the Neighbors Place in Hanlontown. He enjoyed golfing,
being around people, making them laugh, singing Karaoke, spending time with his
family and most of all his nieces and nephews.

Jimmy is survived by two sisters and one brother, Royce Monson and her husband,
Wayne, Clear Lake, Bill Lane and his wife, Lisa, Mason City, and Jolene
Thompson, Clear Lake; a sister-in-law, Lucy Lane Conde, Puerto Rico; eight
nieces and nephews, Eric and Melissa Monson, Clear Lake, John Thompson, New
London, Minn., Jesse Mugan, Dalton Lane, and Joshua Lane, all of Mason City,
Christina and Richie Lane, Puerto Rico; uncle and aunts Don and Jane Lane, Mesa,
Az., Don and Jane Pramer, Arizona, Peg Kazebier, Redwood Falls, Minn., and Katie
Lane, Clear Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,
Richard Lane.
