Peggy Lou Powell, 64, of 815 6th Street SW, Mason City, Iowa, died Tuesday,
Aug.14, 2001 at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, at the
Harvest Time Church, 804 North Tyler Ave., Mason City, with the Rev. George
Johnson officiating. According to Mrs. Powell¹s wishes, her body has been
cremated. Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street NE, is in charge of the
arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Peggy Powell Memorial Fund.

Peggy was born July 31, 1937 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and
Cecil (Sutton) Lamb. She was a member of Harvest Time Church in Mason City who
loved the Lord and being a part of her church community. Peggy opened her arms
to everyone around her, she always enjoyed being with people, and was loved by
everyone who knew her.

Peggy will be greatly missed by her four children; Michael Symes and his wife,
Debi, of Mason City, Catherine Rand and her husband, Lee, of Garner, Iowa,
Colleen Symes and her son, of Clear Lake, and Duke Powell and his wife, Jeannie,
of Mason City; ten grandchildren, six great-granddaughters; nine brothers and
sisters; and her lifelong companion, ³Shchtzee².

She was preceded in death by her parents.
