Jim Klinge II, 53, died at home Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 following an
extended illness with ALS.

Jim was born on Oct. 31, 1955 in Mason City, Iowa the son of James and
Florence (Crabb) Klinge. He was a 1974 graduate of Clear Lake High School. James
was employed as an Optician with KSB Ophthalmology from 1993 until 2007.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the McDonald
Funeral Home in Rock Falls, Iowa with Chaplain Rita Wolf officiating. Visitation
is Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family burial to be held
at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Hospice of the Rock
River Valley or the ALS Foundation.

Survivors include one daughter, Kacie Klinge of Sterling; one son, Jimmy
Klinge III of Sterling; four sisters, Jacque (Mick) Keyser of Clear Lake, Judi
(Bill) McGowan of Urbandale, Iowa, Jeannie (John) Sheley of Hudson, Fla. and
Janice (Tom) Atkinson of Coppell, Texas; 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
