Dorothy Linne, 80, of 501 South Kentucky, Mason City, Iowa, died Saturday,
Feb, 14, 2009, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 19, at Ward Van
Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 North 4th Street, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dennis
Ganz officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will
be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Dorothy J. Steinkamp was born May 9, 1928, in Kansas City, Kansas, the
daughter of Ray and Margaret (Reed) Steinkamp. She graduated from Mason City
High School. She worked at Deckers, Montgomery Ward and Good Shepherd Health
Center, Mason City. She was blessed with three children, David, Rick and
Suzette Marie. Dorothy was united in marriage to George Linne on Oct. 30, 1990.

Dorothy loved playing Bingo, playing cards, and shopping at Affordables.
She was an avid Vikings fan and enjoyed college basketball. Dorothy loved
growing her tomato plants and loved her dogs.

Dorothy is survived by her children David (Kathy) Bartelt, Clear Lake, Rick
(Robin) Bartelt, Cedar Falls, Iowa; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Meyer,
Farmington, Minn., and Christina Bartelt, Thornton, Iowa; great-grandchildren,
Lauren and Ethan Meyer, Carter, Eliot and Vincent Otero, along with other
relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Margaret Steinkamp; infant
daughter, Suzette Marie Bartelt; husband, George Linne and grandson, Adam
Bartelt.
