Earl F. Leeper Sr.MCALLEN, Texas — Earl F. Leeper Sr., 86, formerly of Plymouth, died Monday (Sept. 7, 1998) after a long illness in McAllen, Texas.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral arrangements were completed by the Wilson, Virgel, Mortuaries, Mission, Texas.
Earl was born April 11, 1912, in Bloomington, Ill., the son of James and Carrie (Johnson) Leeper.
Earl farmed and worked at Decker’s Packing plant until his health forced him to retire. He had been a resident of McAllen, Texas, for 25 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty Suchy and her husband, Allen, Osage and Beverly Florence, Lake Mills; one son, Earl Leeper Jr., Plymouth; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister in infancy.
