PLYMOUTH - Bonnie Ellen Leeper, 84, of Plymouth, died Sunday (Oct. 20, 1996) at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 East Spring St., Manly, with the Rev. Kathy Kluis of the Plymouth United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the chapel. According to the wishes of the family, the casket will be closed. Following services the body will be cremated with inurnment services at a later date.

Bonnie Ellen Leeper was born on May 6, 1912, in Fairfield, the daughter of Lafe and Ila (Turnam) Giberson.

She attended and received her education in the Fairfield school system.

Bonnie lived in the rural Jefferson County area moving to North Iowa in 1944, where they farmed until moving to Plymouth in 1968.

She loved animals, gardening, crocheting, canning fruits and vegetables, cooking and baking.

She was a Methodist by faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Suchy and her husband, Al, of Osage, and Beverly Florence of Lake Mills; one son, Earl Leeper Jr., of Plymouth; six grandchildren, Mike Florence of Kensett; Deb Prescott of Clear Lake; Larry and Jason Florence, of Lake Mills; Jacqueline Porter of Gravois Mills, Mo., and Jean Canny of Springville; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
