Hie Rieman – 1902 –February 19, 1962
HIE RIEMAN, 60, DIES AT OSAGE; RITES THURSDAY
Osage – funeral rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. for Hie Rieman, 60 who died suddenly of a heart attack Monday at his farm home. Burial will be in Eden Presbyterian Cemetery.
Born at Ledyard, he was the son of Jurn and Vina Rieman. He moved with his parents to Mason City as a boy, and there was married to Marie Weaverling. The couple lived near Rockford and Rudd and came to near Osage in 1946.
Survivors include his wife Marie; three sons; Jule and Richard, both Osage; Jurn, Rudd; a daughter; Mrs. Leo Schupanitz, Rudd; seven grandchildren; two brothers; John, Hampton; and Kokie, Mason City; and two sisters; Mrs. Darrell Schrank, Mason City; and Mrs. Gust Lindquist, Hinckley, Minnesota.
