MANLY - Anna "Eulaila" HILL, 91, of 155 Circle Terrace, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2007, at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 503 East South Street, Manly, with Pastor Donald PRESTON officiating. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M. at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 East Spring Street, Manly, and continue one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Bethel United Methodist Church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, all of Manly.

Anna Eulaila VASBINDER was born November 21, 1915, in Mason City, the daughter of Wade and Florence (POTTER) VASBINDER. She graduated from Mason City High School. She was united in marriage to Harry Wilbur HILL on June 21, 1939; to this union a son Curtis was born. During WWII Eulalia and her sister Evelyn went to San Francisco and worked in the shipyards, she was known as a "Rosie the Riveter". In 1949 the family moved to Manly from Plymouth. Wilbur and Ray Sr. HILL owned HILL'S Truck and Auto; where Eulalia did the bookkeeping, later being a homemaker most of her life.

Eulalia enjoyed sewing, traveling, socializing with friends and family. She was an avid Twins fan. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. Church was very important to her, she was involved in many activities, church circle, Christian Homebuilders, and teaching young children Sunday school for 30 years. She also volunteered for many different organizations including Manna and Meals on Wheels. Eulalia was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Curtis HILL, Rockford, Illinois, grandson Steven SCHACHTNER, St. Charles, Louisiana, brother Wade and his wife Phyllis VASBINDER, Fort Dodge; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister and brother-in-law Evelyn (Walter) DeMOSS.
