PLYMOUTH WAR VETERAN DIES
Roy H. Carmany Rites to Be Held
Wednesday at Methodist Church

Funeral services for Roy H. CARMANY, 49, World war veteran of Plymouth, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church at Plymouth, with the Rev. L. E. SARCHETT in charge.

Mr. CARMANY died at 1:30 o'clock Monday morning at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines. He had been in failing health two months, but had been at the hospital only 10 days.

Born at Plymouth Jan. 10, 1892, Mr. CARMANY had spent most of his life there, having been employed at the Plymouth creamery for 10 years. He served four years in the 307th infantry, and spent 14 months overseas. He was also a carpenter for a number of years.

Surviving Mr. CARMANY are is mother, Mrs. Anna CARMANY, Cameron, Wis., wife, Mrs. Roy H. CARMANY, Plymouth, and five sisters, Mrs. Bessie BATES, Cameron, Wis., Mrs. Gladys SEEBICK, Anna Mae CARMANY, Mrs. Nellis EDMUNDS, and Mable CARMANY, all of Minneapolis, and three brothers, Dewey, Plymouth, Chester, Beaver Dam, Wis., and Earl, Cumberland, Wis.

Burial will be at the Plymouth [Oakwood] cemetery. The Major funeral home in charge.

Military Honor Are Accorded Plymouth Veteran at Graveside

The Rev. L. E. SARCHETT, pastor of the church, was in charge of the services.

Mrs. MICHAELSON, Mrs. HOLCOMBE, Marion SCARROW and Blair McCREDY sang "Rock of Ages" and "Now the Day Is Over." Mr. L. E. SARCHETT accompanied at the organ.

Mrs. L. D. SNELL and Mrs. M. F. GAGE were in charge of flowers.

Pallbearers were George TIBBITS, J. O. HANSON, M. J. MIKKELSON, R. W. MOORE, T. SWARTS and W. HARMON.

Military services were held at the graveside in the Plymouth cemetery, under Commander George REYNOLDS. The color bearer was c. CHRISTENSON and the color guard, Ira FAULK.

The firing squad consisted of S. M. GRAVERSON, O. PESHAK, C. R. HEMPHILL and A. DEDINA. Taps was played.
