NORFOLK-Kathleen Loretta Lewis, 96, of Norfolk and Mechanisville, VA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2001. She was predeceased by her parents, Vern and Rose Riggins, her husband, Richard Lewis, her brother, Edmund and a sister, Helen. She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Minamyer and her husband Tom, and grandson Brian, of Boardman, OH and Mary Jean Lewis and her husband Jeff Pritchard of Mechanicsville, VA. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Schiller and her husband, Frank, of Arcadia, CA and her brother, Ronnie of Stevens, Point, WI,and special friends the Ewald family.

Kathleen was born and raised in Dougherty, Iowa and was a beautician until she marriedi in 1948.
She moved to Virginia and lived the rest of her life here. She was a devout Catholic and a long-time member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Reverend Father Daniel Beamon will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the fuenral service. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk chapel is handling arrangements.
