Funeral Services to Be Held Wednesday at Episcopal Church.Mrs. Emma HORTON COTTON died early Tuesday morning at a local hospital after a several year's illness. She made her home with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fred [Bertha Alice (PACKER)] COTTON, 225 Third street northeast.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. John' Episcopal church with the Rev. C. B. WHITEHEAD, rector, in charge. The body will lie in state at the Randall funeral home until 2 o'clock p.m., Wednesday. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Mrs. COTTON was born in Plymouth, St. Mary's England, July 11, 1859. She was married to Capt. John A. COTTON of the Eighteenth Illinois cavalry in March, 1883. She had made her home in North Dakota and Mason City mostly since that time. In the early days she lived with the WHEELER family. A brother in Washington survives.
Mrs. Richard Bell MARSHALL of Detroit will arrive Tuesday to attend the funeral service of her grandmother, Mrs. Emma HORTON COTTON. Mrs. MARHALL (sic) is the former Miss Elizabeth COTTON, daughter of Mrs. Fred COTTON.
