Mrs. Lydia A. COLE died last evening in the Moline city hospital of paralysis after an illness of several weeks. For the last year Mrs. COLE had made her home with her son, R. C. COLE at 1820 Seventeenth Avenue. Remains will be sent to Mason City, Iowa, at 8:35 tonight over the Rock Island road and interment will be in the cemetery [Elmwood-St. Joseph] there tomorrow.
Mrs. COLE was born in New York state, November 2, 1838. She leaves five children, R. C. COLE of Moline, James COLE of Jackson, Mich. Harry COLE of Green Mountain, Iowa, Henry COLE of Dunbor, Canada, and a daughter [Kittie (COLE) ROBINS] in Fort Pierre, S. D. She also leaves two sisters in Maquoketa, Iowa, a brother in Grundy, Iowa and a brother in Nebraska.
