Cerro Gordo Early Settler is Buried in Dougherty Cemetery.

Dougherty-Sept 27 (1931)- Funeral services were held here for Hugh Dougherty who died at Minot, N.Dak. Mr. Dougherty had been a pioneer settler in the Dougherty community. His body was accompanied from N. Dak. by Mrs. J. W. Kinsella his daughter, Dan and Jim Dougherty, Minot, N. Dak., two sons, and a brother, Joe Dougherty of Butte, Montana.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. Mary Wade, Chicago; the Rev. P. G. Dougherty, Chicago; Mrs. Mary Daley; Mrs. Frank Davis, Martin Daley and Miss Florence Coughlon, Cavan, S. Dak.
