MRS. HACKER’S RITES SUNDAY
FORMER RESIDENT OF PLYMOUTH, 85, DIES AT STRAWBERRY POINT

Manly – Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Hacker, 85, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Huntley of Strawberry Point, Friday from old age, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church in Plymouth. The Rev. L. E. Sarchett will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was a resident of the Plymouth vicinity for 40 years.

Surviving are five sons and three daughters, William of Mason City; Max of Alabama; Charles and Frank of Mason City; and Emil of Austin, Minnesota; and Mrs. Huntley; Mrsl Ida Wendt of Floyd; and Mrs. A. C. Trettin of Otranto.
The body is at the Bride Funeral home in Manly.

According to the 1925 Iowa Census, Minnie’s maiden name was Ross. She married William Hacker. In the 1900 US Census, she is shown as being born August 1855 in Germany and her husband William February 1854 in Germany.
