August 11, 1956 ~ August 29, 2010

Mason City, Brenda Kay (LANCE) TRESLAN, 54, of 304 N. Jefferson, Mason City, Iowa died Sunday August 29, 2010 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be Noon Monday Sept. 6, 2010 at the Salvation Army, 747 Village Green Dr. S.W., Mason City, Iowa with Major Gary COLE officiating. Family will greet friends following the service. Family suggests memorials to Brenda Kay TRESLAN memorial fund to be sent to 304 N. Jefferson, Mason City, Iowa 50401.

Brenda was born August 11, 1956 in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of DeLoss and Marie (KIROFF) LANCE. She obtained her G.E.D. She was a friendly, beyond reasonable doubt. She loved having company and her family close to her. She always loved a good laugh every now and then. She was the queen of practical jokes; she loved to tell jokes, just to see everyone laugh. She loved everyone with all of her heart; we will always carry her in our hearts forever.

She enjoyed playing Christmas music especially Silver Bells on the organ, writing poetry, dancing, listening to oldies and playing bingo.

Brenda is survived by her husband Gary TRESLAN, Mason City, Iowa; four children Kari LANCE, Mason City, Iowa, Elena SANCHEZ, Augusta, Maine, Kyle (Sam) SANCHEZ, Ft. Leonard, Missouri and Kaylee TRESLAN, Mason City, Iowa; three step-children Shane (Danielle) TRESLAN, Northwood, Iowa, Adam TRESLAN, Ames, Iowa and Sarah (Brandon) JOHNSON, Mason City, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; parents DeLoss and Marie LANCE, Mason City, Iowa;; two sisters Jenny (Roger) RINGHAM, Mason City, Iowa and Linda (Bob) O'DELL, Mason City, Iowa and one brother DeLoss (Suanne BIRKNER) LANCE Jr., Gardiner, Maine and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

We love you mom.
