Burial at Dougherty

Funeral services for Miss Frances McDONOUGH, 28, who died at her home west of Mason City Thursday, [March 7, 1940] following a lingering illness, were held Saturday at the Holy Family Catholic church wil the Rev. R. P. MURPHY in charge.

The Monsignor E. J. DOUGHERTY of Waterloo, the Rev. Thomas ROONEY, Charles City, and the Rev. Hugh McMANUS were present in the sanctuary.

Miss McDONOUGH was born at Rockwell, Sept. 17, 1912. She was preceded in death by her father [Michael], Jan. 27, 1936.

Surving Miss McDONOUGH are her mother, Mrs. Alice McDONOUGH, two sisters: Mrs. James BARRAGY, Rockwell, and Catherine, at home; and four brothers, Daniel of Salt Lake City, Utah, Clement, Joseph and Robert of Mason City.

Pallbearers were Leo McLAUGHLIN, Lawrence FITZGERALD, Charles SCHOLL, Ovrille WITTE and Woodrow BERGMAN of Rockwell, and Norbert CAHALAN of Mason City.

Burial was at St. Patrick cemetery at Dougherty.
